Third-Party Software Information Disclaimer Effective Date: February 10th, 2024
This Third-Party Software Information Disclaimer (the “Disclaimer“) is designed to provide clarity regarding the inclusion of third-party software components in certain products, solutions, or services (collectively referred to as the “Product“) offered by OK2Charge Inc. (“OK2Charge”). By using any Product that includes third-party software, you (the “User“) acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this disclaimer.
Third-party software refers to software applications, programs, or code components that are developed and provided by entities or individuals other than the original manufacturer or developer of a particular product or system.
Open Source Code refers to computer program source code that is made available to the public, typically under a specific open-source license, granting users the rights to view, use, modify, and distribute the code freely.
Open Source Software (OSS) is computer software released with an open-source license, allowing users to freely access, use, modify, and distribute the software’s source code.
In certain OK2Charge products, open-source and/or third-party software code may be incorporated to enhance their functionality and features. These components can include Open Source Software (OSS) licensed under licenses approved by the Open Source Initiative (www.opensource.org) or similar licenses, as well as commercial or freeware software components. In the case of OSS components, the terms and conditions of the respective OSS licenses take precedence over any other terms and conditions governing the Product. The OSS portions of these products are provided royalty-free and can be used without charge.
While OK2Charge strives to ensure the proper integration and functionality of third-party software components, it disclaims any warranties or representations, whether express or implied, regarding the quality, capabilities, operations, performance, or suitability of these components. Users acknowledge that OK2Charge is not the author, owner, or licensor of any open-source or third-party software components included in the Product.
